Well, it’s been 47 days. 47 days of snuggling, diaper changing, splintered sleep and a high I could have never anticipated. 47 days seemed like an eternity as I waited for our due date to approach. Since our little girl was born in the wee hours of November 28, 2012 though, time has compressed. Like someone pushed the 30-second skip button on our Tivo life and here we are six weeks later. She is all consuming. Which is wonderful. I cannot think of a better way to spend a moment than to be looking at this amazing little creature. She is perfectly squishy and she smells like happiness.
These pictures are so great. You really captured her worried eyebrows perfectly. And “she smells like happiness”??? I think you need to be a screen writer. LOVE IT. And you. And her. XOXO
